Southampton Bloggers Meet Up

On Saturday I attended a bloggers meet up hosted by the lovely Alice and Amy, which like the last event, also took place in the quirky bar and lounge that is Orange Rooms. There was a lot more people this time around, so the room was buzzing with bloggers chatting and cooing over products.

Three companies attended the event, those being the favourite of many bloggers, Lush, who as always had amazing goodies with them. Bee good, who the rest of the group loved, but as a vegan, I didn't really pay much attention too for obvious reasons and finally Weleda, who sponsored the event. I hadn't heard of Weleda before today, but I really loved their products. Some weren't vegan friendly due to the use of beeswax, lanolin, etc. but there were plenty of products for me to choose from and I may have purchased a little something. That being the Revitalising Hair Tonic.
A raffle was organised which had an amazing fifteen prizes up for grabs, but what made it better than a normal raffle was that all the proceeds from the tickets bought are going to the The Royal British Legion charity, which was such a lovely idea for the girls to have. We raised £50 in total and to top that off, Alice and Amy have agreed to match that, so £100 will be donated.

At the end of the event, we were gifted an amazing goody bag each, I actually couldn't believe how much it contained. From Make up Revolution and Weleda to Oloves and Lush. The image above features just a small sample of what we received.

Overall, it was a great afternoon and I'm incredibly grateful to have been invited.
