Food Friday #3

I love a colourful plate of food and this weeks Food Friday is full of colour, apart from breakfast maybe...

Before it's said, I know I may have gone a little bit overboard with the milk in this! Most of the time I love overnight oats/porridge, but every now and again I fancy something a little different. Recently I picked up a Maple and Pecan Crunch cereal from Tesco and it's become a favourite in my household.

Anyone who knows me well, will know I love Avocado, it it the perfect filling for a sandwich. My favourite lunch this week was Avocado, Spinach and Rocket and Hummus on a wholemeal cob/bap/bread roll/whatever you prefer to call it (but cob is the correct name, of course). Incredibly quick and easy to make and I'd say it'd be just as easy to eat two or three of them.

Whether you're vegan or not, you need to try the Linda McCartney Deep Dish Country Pies, they are delicious. This week I had one with Carrots, Broccoli and Sweet Potato Mash, all of which I then covered in gravy, of course.

  1. Your food pictures always make me so hungry! What exactly is in the pie? I've never seen a vegan pot pie before!
