Food Friday #23





























It's always a sad time when Christmas is over and you have to go back to eating normally- thankfully, a roast dinner is always ok.


Cereal may not always be the healthiest option for breakfast, but it's pretty handy when you're in a rush, or even just feeling a bit lazy. Jordan's Country Crisp Country Nut is possibly my favourite cereal ever and I always have it with Alpro sweetened soya milk. I sprinkled some mixed raisins and seeds on top for an added bit of goodness.

One of my New Year's Resolutions is to learn a few more staple recipes and I've already managed to get one in the bag. I love Wagamama's ramen but eating there as much as I would like to would end up being a bit too expensive, so I decided to try and recreate it at home. I'll try and get a recipe post together soon, but it's basically vegetables and tofu with udon noodles in a vegetable broth - not as good as Wagamama's, but pretty good for a first attempt at the meal.

This was actually my Christmas dinner, but it's simple enough that it could quite easily be a dinner for any day of the year. It's the Linda McCartney beef roast with veg, roast potatoes and stuffing which was obviously covered in gravy after this photo was taken.
